In the mokko shape and of hammered iron with Hachiman deity of war symbols of cross fire arrows, firing through wishing jewel and a Bonji (sanskrit) character "Ban" as part of magic incantation. The reverse of the tsuba features Shinto symbols with the mimi in the uchikaeshi style. This is a large tsuba and would fit a large range of Katana sizes.
