Genuine 1864 Pattern British Cavalry Troopers Sword in fair condition.  The blade has multiple acceptance and reissue stamps, the earliest being '82 (1882).  With many Inspection Stamps, corresponding to the reissue stamps, from many manufacturers and government inspectors.  The blade also sports the WD (War Department) government ownership mark with the X Bend Test approval stamp.  The guard also has the WD stamp as well as Inspection Stamp.  The steel scabbard also sports quite a few stamps as well.
 
The blade itself is in generally good condition with some pitting on the last third of blade near the tip.  The grip is mostly intact with a little damage as seen in the photos.  The guard and scabbard, while rusted, still appears to be in generally good condition given its 140+ years of age.  Overall a resonably good example of an 1864, at a resonable price.
