This Dirk is patterned after an early model (circa 1700) and is similar in form to earlier ballock knives. The live blade is forged from 1566 carbon steel and is “backed” (single-edged and wedge-shaped in cross section). The ever popular Dirk from Paul Chen is strikingly authentic, its clean lines and carved hardwoord hilt making it a clansman re-enactor favorite.  Includes genuine leather sheath.
