Napoleons cavalry was the bane of the European battlefield. His troops were equipped with first rate blades, manufactured in a state-of-the-art factory dedicated to producing the finest edged weapons of the day. Our French Light Cavalry Saber takes inspiration from these exceptional swords, with an elegantly curved carbon steel dull edged blade and long, wide fuller. The grip is timber, wrapped in black leather and strongly protected by a stout, brass knuckle bow. The whole package comes with a heavy duty polished steel scabbard with dual rings for attachment to a baldric or sword belt.
