The iconic Roman Gallic style helmet was in use from the late Republic to the 3rd century.   Influenced by the Celtic styles of the period the helmet features a reinforcing peel on the front for extra strengh with embossed brows also for strength.   The semi circular neck guard synonymous with the Roman helm is ribbed for added strength and rigidity.  Our helmet is crafted from wearable quality 18 gauge, 1.2mm steel, with a padded liner and cheek guards.  Brass accents and real horse hair crest finish of this piece in style.
