The Practical Wakizashi from Hanwei provides a very economical cutting sword as dependable as the Practical Katana (SH1070).  The blade is forged from 1566 carbon steel and differentially hardened in the traditional claying method with a prominent hamon. The fittings of the Practical Wakizashi are patinated stainless steel for strength and durability while the tsuka is bound in an imitation leather.  Suitable for medium cutting duties.
