Although Basket-Hilt swords appeared throughout Britain from the mid-sixteenth century on, their association with the seventeenth and eighteenth century Scottish highlander has become legendary. This broadsword features a brass basket hilt with a solid carbon steel blade. The grip is faux leather covered timber and the scabbard is also of carbon steel.
