Replica US Navy 1860 Pattern Cutlass of the French design. Very popular with Navies and pirates alike for it short robust design so as not to be caught in rigging and the like in close configned fighting, as found on early sailing and steam vessels. Our version features a carbon steel dull edged blade with a brass knuckle bow. The grip and scabbard are constructed of timber and wrapped in real leather with brass accents.
